Who We Are
Plants of Hackney was born in 2024 just as summer came to a close.
We are Ollie, Krystal, and Jordan, three Hackney-based friends united by our love for plants, green spaces, and the unique juxtaposition of concrete and greenery that makes Hackney so special.
OIlie

Our journey began with a shared vision: to turn our homes into lush, green oases.
Growing up in London, Ollie and Jordan found solace and inspiration in the city's urban gardens and parks. Krystal, with her roots in New Zealand and Samoa, brought a unique appreciation for the lush landscapes and tropical beauty of her heritage.
Together, we realised the incredible impact plants can have on our living spaces and well-being.
Krystal

Inspired by our travels together to places with tropical climates such as Costa Rica, The Philippines & Mexico and our diverse cultural backgrounds, we decided to start a plant business that bring together our love of plants, interior design, and the natural world.
Our mission is to provide beautiful, healthy plants that can transform your space into a green sanctuary.
We believe that everyone deserves a touch of nature in their lives, and we're here to help you create your own urban jungle.

Our Favourite Plants
Each of us has a favourite plant species that holds a special place in our
hearts:
Rubber Plant: Ollie's favourite, known for its large, glossy leaves and
air-purifying qualities.
Kentia Palm: Krystal's choice, a graceful and resilient plant that brings a
touch of the tropics indoors.
Birds of Paradise (Strelitzia Reginae): Jordan's favourite, admired for its
striking spear like leaves, bird-like flowers and lush foliage.

Our Commitment to Sustainability
Sustainability is at the core of everything we do. We are committed to sourcing
our plants responsibly and promoting eco-friendly practices.
From using
biodegradable pots to encouraging plant care that conserves water and reduces
waste, we strive to make a positive impact on the environment.
Our goal is to
help you create a beautiful, sustainable green space that you can enjoy for
years to come.
